Jaymi is a songwriter, composer, vocalist and passionate storyteller.  She is the founder of Pensive Media, where her primary focus lies in developing creative work that fosters empathy and compassion for the human experience.

Shaped by nearly a decade in Silicon Valley, Jaymi brings a startup mindset to music and storytelling  — bold vision, creative momentum and the courage to build what doesn’t yet exist. Through the power of art and creativity, she seeks to create a more thoughtful and engaged society, one story at a time.  

Before dedicating her time to creative ventures, Jaymi enjoyed a successful career crafting policy and fostering the safe and responsible development of new technologies for Google, Apple, Pinterest, and the United States government. She is a former U.S. delegate to the Wassenaar Arrangement in Vienna, Austria.

Jaymi holds a B.S. in biomedical engineering and has intensive study in European Classical piano, music composition, and vocal performance. She lives with her family in Washington, DC.
